Before that, I was like this ...
Yes, that didn't look that bad. But that was not good enough. Let me explain.
According to my height (166 cm), my standard weight should be less than 62 kg in accordance with the INTERNATIONAL STANDARD. But my current weight was:
78 kg
So I still had (78kg - 62kg = ) 16 kg to go.
It's really bad.
So I need to try something extreme to reach that Goal.
Fortunately, I came across this diet.
Diet: Egg + CucumberYes, it IS that simple.
Basically, that is what you are supposed to eat in the first two weeks.
Breakfast: one boiled egg + one cucumber
Lunch: one boiled egg + one cucumber (or cucumber salad)
Dinner: one boiled egg + one cucumber (or cucumber salad)
It is really easy to prepare. And I wouldn't have to think about what to eat for meals every time. So it is something that has its benefits from the very beginning.
Before I started, I worried about being starving. But it turns out ok. When the stomach is not too loaded, it makes me more focused on my job and what I have to do. My concentration is improving.
And I don't worry about what to eat for snacks during the meals. It actually saved me some time during the day for something better, like updating my blogs like this one.
In addition, I don't want to totally depend on this diet. So I have been keeping my exercise routine everyday and even increase the intensity and duration.
I started to run not only in the morning, but also in the evening after work. In the morning, I would jog at the same speed. In the afternoon, I would alternate between different speeds. I will explain in future posts about these.
The result is:
First Week:
Weight on Monday of the first week: 76.1kg (during to my exercising before trying this diet)
Weight on Monday of the second week: 73.2kg
Weight lost: 2.9 kg.
NOT BAD.
Second Week:
Weight on the Monday of the third week: 71.9 kg.
Weight lost: 1.3 kg.
I can't complain.
Third Week: (As instructed, I started to add something to the diet, like chicken breast, because meat is ok for weight loss, especially lean meat.)
I am still on it.
Today (March 11, 2016)'s weight: 71.3 kg.
What is worth mentioning is that it remained at 71.7 kg for consecutive 3 or 4 days. This happens because the weight doesn't go down in a linear way. Actually, it drops abruptly, which sometimes surprise you, well, in a good way.
I will keep posting about my progress on here, which is why I started this blog in the first place.
